MovieStarPlanet Hires Head of Safety

Kids game and social network appoints veteran child safety specialist into newly created role.
MovieStarPlanet, the tween-focused virtual world in which kids can create their own movie star, has appointed child safety expert Vernon Jones as Head of Safety.
Jones has experience in child safety at local, national and international levels and holds an MA in social studies. He has worked on child protection projects in Denmark and the United Kingdom.

Vernon Jones is now tasked with optimising existing safety procedures and developing new measures to ensure that MovieStarPlanet ‘continues to provide a fun and safe gaming experience’ for 60 million-pluss users in 11 countries across Europe and North America.
