MovieStarPlanet wins “Most Innovative Company in Denmark” Prize at EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2014

We are very proud to announce that MovieStarPlanet ApS has been awarded with an outstanding distinction! On Thursday, we have been awarded the prize for the most innovative company in Denmark, at the very prestigious EY Entrepreneur of the Year competition. The two other finalists in the category were also companies on the forefront of Danish innovation and business success: Global Connect ApS and Laser Touch ApS. Coming ahead of such prominent companies, makes us even more grateful for being recognized for our core values and achievements.

At MovieStarPlanet innovation is center piece of the way we do business and drive growth. By winning the Innovation category at the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year we can now also boast for being officially recognized as the country’s most innovative company. The Innovation category celebrates companies that have a special eye for innovation, with an innovative mindset. The companies in this category have contributed to their position as market leaders and been the focal point for growth and development. Innovation is about much more than just the creation of new products and services – it is about developing and optimizing all parts of the business.

MovieStarPlanet is a social network with strong social and creative components – and where it is not only the company but also the millions of users, who unfold these. MovieStarPlanet was among the first who created a social network for children online and has been a step ahead of other social media, “says the Bjarne Clausen, CEO of Haldor Topsoe ApS, who, on behalf of the jury, presented the award to the winner.

At the Danish Chamber of Commerce MovieStarPlanet is recognized as a prime example of Denmark’s innovative capabilities: “Innovation is paramount in the global competition, and Denmark has some strong cards. But we have been hard hit by the crisis, and all the more impressive is the fact that Movie Star Planet has been able to capture and maintain its position in such a competitive field as games market, “says Market Director of the Danish Chamber of Commerce, Søren Friis Larsen.
