MSP at Nordic Game Jam 2014
This Valentine’s weekend, MovieStarPlanet took part in one of the biggest video gaming industry events in Denmark and worldwide – Nordic Game Jam.
Taking place at the Aalborg University campus in Copenhagen, the aim of the weekend-long event is to gather a variety of gaming enthusiasts across disciplines. In small teams, the groups create a computer or board games within the space of 48 hours. It’s a space for testing out new platforms, engaging in high intensity problem solving, and above all, having some nerdy fun!
The MSP team consisted of 11 gaming enthusiasts, who worked with both industry veterans and newcomers to gain new insights, network and create breakthrough games as a part of multidisciplinary teams.
Additionally, Nordic Game Jam is also where we look for our future talent and engage with our current fans.
As proud sponsors of the event, we had the opportunity to set up our own stand prior to the start of the jam. Armed with MSP badges, chocolage. laptops and print outs of available positions, representatives from across MSP disciplines enjoyed connecting with a broad spectrum of members of the gaming community. The game jam proved to be a hugely inspirational event and it was uplifting to see so many talented gamers of all ages involved!
