Head of Safety, Vernon Jones – Guest Speaker at Europol Training Course
MovieStarPlanet’s Head of Safety, Vernon Jones was the guest speaker at the 14th Europol training course on combating the sexual exploitation of children on the Internet (COSEC) to be held in Germany on 29 October 2013.
Jones, who has 20 years’ experience in child protection, both on and offline, has made great strides since joining MovieStarPlanet over one year ago, in making MovieStarPlanet a game commended for its online safety features and measures.
As a member of Europol Platform of Experts, Jones presented the industry perspective on combatting child sexual exploitation on the Internet and the need for industry groups to cooperate with Law Enforcement Agencies.
“I am honoured to have been asked to present at COSEC this year” said Jones. “It validates the measure that MovieStarPlanet takes in ensuring children are safe while online. It is a great achievement to be seen as an industry leader and expert in the field. We work hard every day at MovieStarPlanet to make our game fun and safe” Jones continued.
